The Ochre Conference Centre (aptly named after the Ochre Barn, as one of the earliest permanent buildings in Mossel Bay ), is part of the Dias Museum Complex. The Ochre Conference Centre has direct access to Market Street, with plenty of parking and very centrally situated to the CBD, Harbor and Yacht Club, Dias Museum and Santos Beach (ideal for teambuilding activities). This conference venue steeped with history, has been built and refurbished with the highest of standards being awarded four stars by the Tourism Grading Council.
The various room styles depict the delegate seating capacity numbers. The maximum as Cinema Style (120). A boardroom set up can accommodate a maximum of 52 delegates, and 100 persons in a Banquet style. There are various conferencing packages available to groups ranging from full day to half day packages, as well as full and half day venue hires. Full Conference packages which include accommodation and meals are also available.
The Ochre Centre is adjacent to the renowned Caf? Gannet Restaurant, Mossel Bay's Seafood House. Acclaimed for ingeniously prepared local seafood specialities, from coastal oysters, black mussels and Mossel Bay Sole - delivered daily from the harbor - to make a delectable and varied a la carte menu, which includes pizza, salads, meat dishes, light lunches and Rainbow Cuisine. The Caf? Gannet restaurant also offers a private dining room / boardroom. This modern and chic venue can accommodate 12-15 guests comfortably. The Caf? Gannet Restaurant has a seating capacity for 100 people indoors and 60 outdoors ? a total of 160.
Conferencing Packages can be customized according to client?s specific requirements with standard equipment such as Air Conditioning, Whiteboard, Flipchart, Overhead Projector, Fixed Screen, White Screen, Facsimile, Photostat Machine, Television, Video Recorder, DVD Player, PA System, Microphone and Data Projector are also available.
