Villa Belmonte is an elegant and imposing Boutique Hotel in quiet Oranjezicht, framed against the backdrop of Table Mountain, only minutes from the city centre. The wide verandah with its arched columns has sweeping views of the mountains with the city below stretching out towards the harbour and sea. Built in 1903, the recidence has the ambience of a Cape Colonial villa. Owners Cliff and Tabea Jacobs restored and converted their villa into an exclusive small hotel some years ago and have since gained an enviable reputation for the quality of their product, culminating in the Villa recently being awarded a 4-star grading, with a Silver classification, for service excellence. For the businessman, there is a small well-equipped conference room, and a large pool sparkles in the pretty garden.
