The 11 500 hectare reserve is tucked away in prime game viewing territory, where you can enjoy the excitement and thrills of the bush, with a large variety of wildlife including the Big Five.
The Thornybush Collection offers 8 lodges on the reserve, Thornybush Game Lodge, Shumbalala, n' Kaya, Serondella, Chapungu Luxury Tented Camp, Monwana, Waterbuck and nKelenga Self Catering Lodge, all specialising in tailor made service for both leisure and conference guests, offering a total of 88 beds.
A popular activity offered is our team building programme. Conceptualised by conservationist and author of the book 'The Power of the Pride', Ian Thomas, this programme includes a 4x4 obstacle course in which guests drive a game drive vehicle on a three-minute rotational basis. The programme is designed around the individual's participation in a group, and is run by a conference facilitator, who provides the initial briefing before each exercise and facilitates intergroup discussions once the exercise has been completed.
