Cayley Lodge is set in 286 acres overlooking the magnificent Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle mountain ranges of the Central Drakensberg. From Cayley's comfortable en-suite bedrooms, one can enjoy panoramic views of sweeping lawns reaching towards the mountains before making their way gently down to Bell Park Dam in the valley below.

Cayley Lodge is a gracious hotel, with 34 bedrooms, 2 of which are executive suites. The individually decorated rooms are extremely comfortable with private dressing room, television, and tea & coffee making facilities.

The Haggis Pot restaurant serves tastefully prepared, wholesome home cooked meals, complemented by a selection of Cape wines from our Deoch and Doris pub, which overlooks the restaurant. Enjoy an after dinner sherry in the lounge, or try your hand at darts or pool in our games room. A selection of board games is available at reception. Other on site recreational activities include volley ball, croquet, swimming pool and excellent bird watching opportunities. For out door enthusiasts, there is horse riding nearby, enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise on Bell Dam, or hike the foothills of the majestic Drakensberg. For the more energetic, the Cayley Adventure Challenge offers exciting outdoor teambuilding and leadership training exercises.

Cayley Lodge is situated 3.5 hours from Johannesburg, and 2 hours from Durban, with tarred roads all the way to the Lodge, Cayley is the South African pronunciation for 'celidh' Gaelic for 'a happy gathering', and true to our name we guarantee that your stay with us will be memorable!
