What is the Event Organiser Network

The Event Organiser Network is a network of individuals who are involved in organising events for their company or on behalf of their clients. Any individual within an organisation who is to some degree involved in planning, organising or managing events can apply to become a member of the Event Organiser Network. Membership is free and without obligation.

Why an Event Organiser Network

The idea is to create and facilitate a platform where event organisers have access to exclusive rebated pricing, venue educationals, event related products, services, news, reviews, industry developments, workshops, conferences and exhibitions.

Our vision is that the Event Organiser Network must add value to our members by being targeted and relevant, topical, authoritative and above all enable our members to easily use the information to conduct event related business.

Since our vision is to enhance all aspects of our members event management tasks, member benefits are focused on achieving this. The Event Organiser Network advantages include:

    • The venue educational program is a business focused program designed to give members first hand experience of event related product, thereby equipping our members with information enabling them to make a well informed business decision.

      We arrange weekend and midweek overnight excursions to selected top quality venues throughout the year. Members experience an amazing program of venue specific activities, a technical site inspection, sumptuous dining, and the best leisure activities on offer, all free of charge. (Somebody has to do it :))

      Past educationals have included, swimming with the dolphins in Mozambique, game drives at 5 star luxury bush lodges, zip lining in Mpumalanga, helicopter flips and a load more. In short, we want you to experience as much of what the venue can offer your delegates as possible so you can make the right business decision.

    • Peer reviews are reviews by our members of venues and event services we have visited or experienced as part of the educational program and are posted on the member web site.

      Reviews by like minded event organisers are invaluable to those members who were unable to attend the educational but who may be interested in booking the venue for an upcoming event. Quality feedback from other members are a great guide to what to expect from a venue or service.

    • The annual Event Organiser Network Showcase and Exhibition is the 'cannot miss' event for anyone involved in organising events for their organisation.

      During this one day event, members have a unique opportunity to experience a selection of South Africa's top rated conference speakers, entertainers and comedians as they showcase what they can do to make your event unique and memorable.

      The afternoon session offers members an opportunity for one-to-one networking with senior representatives of 150 (2011) of southern Africa's best venues and event service providers.
